A North West based Accountancy firm specialising in the support of a wide range of clients from SMEs businesses to charities, are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Account Semi-Senior to join their team. This firm provides a range of accountancy, business advisory, tax and planning services to clients across the North West and wider UK. Your new role
As Account Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for accounts preparation for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charities. You will support clients in accounting and taxation issues and assist with audit assignments. You will prepare management accounts including the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, bookkeeping and preparation of tax returns. You will work as part of a team to carry out additional client and in-house projects, collaborating with other team members to ensure client needs are met. You will also assist with the allocation and review work of the junior trainees.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients and strong IT skills with experience in accounts software such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks or similar systems. This candidate will need to be AAT or part ACA qualified. If you have strong leadership abilities and are keen to take on a guiding role within a team, this is an excellent opportunity. You will also need a strong ability to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £28,000 and £35,000 dependent on experience. You will be working within a newly renovated modern and open plan office with access to a free onsite gym. As well as a competitive firm wide benefits package including 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension contributions, study support and access to company parking this firm also offer hybrid/flexible working patterns across a 37 ½ hour working week.
