The main purpose of the Digital Marketing Apprentice is to provide business and digital support to ensure effective planning, co-ordination, and monitoring activities for the continuing growth and development of the company.
Location:
- The role is based at our Head Office in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester
- The role will also include some remote working from home, as well as travelling to meetings around the UK
The Digital Marketing Apprentice will take an integrated approach to the core functions of:
- Creating and implementing digital solutions from conception through to delivery
- Developing, implementing, tracking and optimising our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels
- Designing and developing company marketing resources and proposals
- Co-ordinating and preparing routine and bespoke information requests
- Supporting new bid and tender processes
- Developing new content in unfamiliar sectors
- Producing learning material, informative and marketing resources
- Creating and developing E-learning content and managing E-Learning Portal LMS
- Maintaining positive and pro-active relationships with partner organisations
Key Duties:
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including digital content, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Collaborate with internal teams and partner organisations to develop/improve materials, create landing pages and optimise customer experience
- To promote and support the mission, vision and values of the company at all times, providing a quality service and treating all those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner
- To manage a range of activities and input to key tasks as directed by the Marketing Manager and Company Directors
- Develop and support our Learner Management System, delivering high quality content to a diverse learner group
Person Specification:
- Impeccable literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to reflect on actions and experiences, using insights gained to improve skills and foster continuous personal development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Experience in the use of software packages such as Canva and/or Adobe Software to create marketing and learning materials, social media posts, and other visuals
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word to interpret data and create presentations and/or reports of the highest standard
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Hold a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to meet the post requirements in full
Entry Requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Package:
- Salary £18,000 to £20,000 pa subject to experience, the salary will be reviewed after the probationary period (6 months)
- 25 days paid holiday pa, rising to 28 after 3 years of continuous employment plus bank holidays.
- Auto-enrolment pension – 3% employer pension contribution.
- Hours: 37.5 per week – Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Future Prospects:
